We believe in challenges |The season A/W 09/10

 

Those who want to assert themselves successfully on the market on a long-term basis will be confronted with new challenges time and time again. To take on the challenges means to create something unique every season that generates attention and interest and that rouses familiar associations while still leaving enough room for new developments. The A/W 09/10 collection represents the interplay between classic and modern styles, between commercial and fashionable designs. Destined for Munich, Lisbon, Berlin and New York, the 09/10 season will be showcased in London. A city that stands right amongst various trends and cultures, a European metropolis that combines apparent contrasts with one another in creative harmony.

 


The trade fairs and the A/W 09/10 order

 

For the first time, MILESTONE is presenting the current A/W 09/10 collection in a showroom at Fashionhouse 1, during the CPD. With this step, MILESTONE is focusing more strongly on the export business, which is constantly growing. "This temporary showroom allows us to pay more attention to our export customers and gives us more time for the orders", says Karsten Matheis, head of sales. The entire A/W 09/19 collection is showcased on an area of more than 300 square metres, as the core of the MILESTONE world. MILESTONE's very own future showroom concept for Düsseldorf is in planning, anticipated to be ready in 2010.

Alongside the CPD, MILESTONE will be represented at the trade fairs JAM, CIFF and CPM. We are looking forward to seeing you at our showroom or trade fair stand.

Publications for A/W 08/09

 

During the order and trade fair period, MILESTONE is running an advertising campaign in the German and international trade press. To arouse further interest 8,000 invitations will be sent to traders and partners worldwide.

The S/S 09 advertising campaign

 

From the end of February, MILESTONE will be conducting a Germany-wide consumer advertising campaign in the mostly highly circulated fashion and lifestyle magazines GQ, GQ-Style, Amica and InStyle. The campaign starts at the same time as the opening of the S/S 09 sales season. Advertisements will be showcased in New York - symbol for unshakeable belief and optimism, centre of the melting pot for global trends. The pictorial language is fashionable, modern and summery.

Premiere "Ruta del Che"

 

On the 23rd January, the premiere of "Ruta del Che" takes place at the Rio-Filmpalast in Munich. Employees are invited to this as well as the long standing partners of MILESTONE and representatives of the press and film industry. Further showings will take place at documentary-film festivals this year. In the coming weeks, the film will be sent as a DVD to selected traders and partners of MILESTONE.
