MILESTONE posted an exceptionally strong growth in sales in the first Autumn/Winter 2008/2009 order round. In women's wear sales were increased by almost 50% compared to the previous year. In menswear too MILESTONE was clearly up on last year. The increase in sales is about 10%. In regional terms MILESTONE made especially good gains in the German market. Other countries with strong growth rates are Portugal, Spain and France. This means that the shift created for the Autumn/Winter 2008/2009 season towards a more fashionable and more distinctive collection has been a huge success.
After a successful sales start to the Spring/Summer 2008 season in the trade the first trends have already made themselves apparent. In menswear the consumer is after fashion-oriented types of jacket, the considerable interest among purchasers for summer leather jackets being particularly striking. Some selected highlights of the MILESTONE collection focusing on light types of leather are now ready for re-order in the short term.
The documentary team has been tracking Che Guevara's trail in Bolivia since 14 March. They are tracing the revolutionary's last months along the "Ruta del Che" and searching for the present day of Che Guevara. How did the myth of Che Guevara shape the people of Latin America?
