The current Spring/Summer Collection 2010 from Milestone particularly stands out in its variety of new materials and shapes. As an important element strong colours lend the various models a unique note. The most important types of jackets are short, snappy bomber and biker versions that are supplemented by sporty suit jacket models. You can find a detailed overview in the collection reports below.
The S/S 2010 season has been staged in Sydney – the metropolis “Down Under”, cultural centre of Oceania and a global boomtown.
Australia’s largest city stands for summer, a relaxed and sporty lifestyle. The mystical continent of Australia generates itchy feet, wanderlust and the longing for adventure worldwide.
Contrasting styles combine in Sydney. Victorian classical is mixed with the pioneering spirit and the oceanic modern. The overall view of the metropolis is urban, expressive and emotional.
For the Spring/Summer Collection 2010 selected MILESTONE models in the HAKA range will be offered in sizes up to 70, 36 and 122. Numerous studies, such as the Size Germany Study from the Hohensteiner Institut, in which over 13,000 men, women and children were measured throughout Germany, proved that the European population is getting ever more obese. MILESTONE is reacting to this change in society with a large size collection and in doing so is meeting market needs. The large sizes collection encompasses models from the leather and textile segments and offers a wide variety of shapes from sporty suit jackets up to field jacket variants. The colours are classics such as beige, grey, cognac or blue.

The H/W 09/10 sales season is gradually beginning. Due to the very positive reception for these orders lately, MILESTONE is offering you some selected highlights for repeat orders. Key pieces, such as the sport lamb leather jacket Sumba, or the fashionable rabbit skins Westen Mayte, Aaliah and Lynn, can now be ordered and delivered at short notice. The goods will be delivered from the middle of September to the beginning of October. Use this opportunity shortly before the summer holidays and add effective, strong selling supplements to your range.
Repeat orders can be given either at the CPD from 23 July - 28 July in the Fashion House 1, Room 132-134 or immediately at the Milestone-Women’s Outerwear Clothing agencies you already know.

Sarah Zweiacker has been responsible for the Milestone Sales Management Women’s Outer Clothing since 1 July 2009.The textiles manager worked for the system supplier ESPRIT for the last five years, initially in the Women’s Casual area and finally for four years as Area Manager EDC MEN Bavaria. At Milestone Sarah Zweiacker is the interface for communications between Sales and Product Management. As a further area of responsibility Sarah Zweiacker will promote the development and expansion of suitable system space for MILESTONE.
